Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Gaurav Sharma, sole proprietor, trading as Go4Lead collects when you use PulsePost, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and what control you have. We are the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy covers pulsepost.in and the PulsePost app.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address. If you sign in with LinkedIn, also the name LinkedIn shares with us. You can add a professional headline yourself.
- Your LinkedIn connection: your LinkedIn member identifier, which is needed to publish as you, and an access token, which is stored encrypted. We never receive your password.
- What you create: your brand voice settings and interview answers, posts you paste in to train your voice, topics, drafts, scheduled and published posts with their LinkedIn post IDs, and images you upload for posts.
- Billing details: the legal name, address, state and optional GSTIN you enter for invoices, the invoices we issue, and Razorpay’s subscription and payment references. We never see or store your card number or bank details.
- WhatsApp number: only if you turn on WhatsApp notifications.
- Usage and technical records: how many posts you generated this billing period, product events such as which onboarding step you reached, when you were last active, and your IP address in server logs and rate limiting.
- Sample-post requests: if you ask for sample posts without an account, the email address and description you give us, the posts we write, and your IP address.
We do not collect your LinkedIn connections, your LinkedIn messages, or anyone else’s profile data.
How we use it
- To run the Service: sign you in, write, schedule and publish your posts, and send the notices you asked for.
- To bill you, and to issue and keep GST tax invoices as the law requires.
- To keep the Service secure, apply plan limits, and stop abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, where people get stuck, so we can fix it.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you create an account or ask for samples, and on the uses the DPDP Act allows without it, such as meeting our legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting LinkedIn or WhatsApp, or by deleting your account.
How we use LinkedIn data
We use what LinkedIn gives us only to sign you in, to show which LinkedIn account is connected, and to publish the posts you created, scheduled or approved. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, combine it into profiles of you or others, or use it to train AI models. Disconnecting LinkedIn, or deleting your account, deletes the access token.
AI processing
To write a post we send our AI providers the topic, your brand voice settings, the facts you have given us about your business, and a few of your recent posts so drafts do not repeat themselves. Anthropic is the main provider and OpenAI the fallback. Both are based in the United States. Neither receives your LinkedIn token or your billing details, and under their business API terms neither uses this data to train its models.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We disclose it to authorities only when the law requires us to.
Transfers outside India
Some of these providers process data outside India, as the table shows. The DPDP Act allows this except to countries the Government of India restricts, and we will stop any transfer to such a country.

Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Access and take your data: Settings → Export my data downloads everything we hold about you as a JSON file.
- Erase it: Settings → Delete my account erases your account, posts, brand voice, connections and usage records immediately. Copies in backups disappear within 14 days.
- Correct it: most details can be edited in the app. Email us for anything else.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
- Raise a grievance with our grievance officer, below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
We respond to requests within 30 days.
Children
PulsePost is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. LinkedIn access tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is limited to the proprietor. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Cookies
The app uses one cookie, to keep you signed in, and pulsepost.in sets none. The details are in our Cookie Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
